Alumni/Active Golf Outing | | | | Event Description - Alumni/Active Golf Outing | Join us on Friday, September 10 at the RAYMOND MEMORIAL GOLF COURSE. Raymond Memorial is located on Trabue Road and is easily accessible using the exit for Roberts Road on I-270 (west side of town) or from Riverside Drive just a little south of where Lane Avenue meets Riverside Drive.
Right now we have tee times starting at 11:28AM running through to 12:56PM (a total of 12 foursomes; 48 players). The staff at Raymond Memorial will give us a few more if needed.
The cost for entry in the KAPPA SIGMA OPEN will be $65 per person. That will include; (1) 18-holes at Raymond Memorial Golf Course; (2) golf cart; (3) a sandwich, chips and soft drink/water on the course provided by world famous Schmidt's Sausage House Catering; (4) beer/soft drinks following play; (5) chili bowls following play; (6) trophy engraving; and (7) some odd ball prizes.
The last event was held in 2003 with Scott Shelton winning low gross. Low net was shared by Kip Wortman and Jim Botti. The "KSIG Buckeye" trophies are in great shape and resting comfortably at 1842 Indianola Avenue in The Library. I'll break 'em out for the event and may even add one. One thought I had was to have a "blind draw" following play that would randomly pair two players as a "TEAM"..... their combined NET score would be used to award a 2-man prize.

Seven (7) weeks will fly by quickly. $55 for golf, food and a get-together before the OSU vs Miami game? What's not to like!!!!!
